MARLENE
S. BREMER, B.A.,M.A. was born and educated in Germany. She continued her
formal education in the United States and holds a Master of
Art degree. Marlene received a Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine
and Decorative Arts from New York University.
Marlene's paintings and sculptures reflect her love for the beauty in nature
and the environment, executed in an interaction of vibrant colors and vivid
brush strokes in an expressionistic way.
Ms. Bremer won awards from the Institute Audio Visuel, Paris, France, National
Association of Women in the Arts, Inc., NY, Salute to Women in the Arts,
NJ, Bicentennial Arts and Crafts Show, NJ, Window Display Award, District
of Bavaria, Germany and various others.
Her work
was exhibited internationally, in China, France, Germany and Greece, as
well as in a traveling Museum Exhibition with The National Association
of Women Artists, Inc., NY. in the United States.
Ms. Bremer is a member of the National Association of Women Artists, Inc.,
NYC, Artist Equity Inc., NYC, Painting & Water Color Affiliates of
the Art Center of Northern New Jersey and Salute to Women in the Arts,
New Milford, NJ. She is listed in "Who's Who in American Art", "Who's Who
in the International of Proffesional and Business Women", "Who's Who in
the East", and "Art in America", Annual.
Ms. Bremer taught at The School of Continuing Education, Ridgewood, NJ.
and at Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ.
Her works are located in corporate and private collections in the United
States and Europe.
